40,000 striking Verizon workers march through NYC

Thousands of workers at the US communications giant Verizon marched from the Verizon building in New York City, Monday, during a strike over job security and wages. The strike was called by the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, after an array of disputes were not resolved. It features around 40,000 workers.
