A French firm has offered free sex toys to women ‘widowed’ by the fantasy game Diablo III, released this week.
The game has been a huge hit – as has Absoloo’s rather tawdry offer, where women get a free ‘toy’ for posting a picture of themselves with the game on the company’s Facebook page.
‘Widows’ who post pictures – there have been a surprising number, some in fantasy costume – will be sent a code by the company, which entitles them to a free ‘toy’ from the site.

Although official figures has not been released, it’s thought that the company has sold three million copies in one day.
It’s made by the same company that make fantasy hit World of Warcraft, often referred to as ‘Warcrack’ due to its addictive qualities – hence Absoloo’s offer.
Anticipation for the fantasy demon-killing game has bubbled over because the previous entry in the series was released 12 years ago, a lifetime in the gaming world when compared with franchises like World of Warcraft and Call of Duty, which receive regular updates.
More than 1,500 fans gathered together on Monday night around a shopping center located about a mile from the developer’s headquarters to witness the game’s launch.
