Bleak auto sales and job market

Inventory levels in the Auto Ind. are at 6 to 8 months. I see a great big old gray cloud looming in the distance. All of our friends that are in retail sales, have agreed concerning bleak outlooks locally here in E. Texas. Can’t speak for the nation as a whole, but I see trends now as when this all began. Our unemployment rate is above 15% now, and jobs are falling like flies. So when I hear Wall Street ranting about recovery, I think it must be on another planet somewhere. Washington is not minding the controls fighting over a medical plan which should be easy to correct and pass, but to much politics and in fighting. The whole Congress has gone on the defensive in fear of losing the next election. In the interim, the country sinks further into debt, and economic woes. We need a voice in Washington. Someone who listens to our problems in every town, and city across this great country. Not some meaningless Townhall meeting that the media slams as rebellious.

Higher oil prices are not helping this country. Only foreign interests where the oil is produced for the huge oil companies benefit. The investors in futures could care less about the rest of us. Too many want the gains when the oil market is unstable. Hey, I say make money when you can, but use discretion when you see your country suffering from your actions.

Natural Gas is our solution. We have enough for several liftimes. It’s a bloody no brainer.
