BoA Leaving The Ozarks…29 Branches Have Been Dumped!

Arvest Bank, based in Fayetteville, Ark., announced in December that it had an agreement to buy 29 branches and certain deposit accounts and loans from Charlotte, N.C.-based Bank of America Corp. in Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas. Credit card, mortgage, brokerage or trust accounts are not included in the deal. The acquisition represents $750 million in deposits and more than 65,000 customer households.
