Police said 3 people have been shot and two injured in Union County, Florida on Saturday after a gunman went on a shooting spree, then killing himself. The shooter was identified as Hubert Allen, Jr., 72. Allen shot at his own former co-workers and the owner of the Pritchett Trucking, Inc. Company. Allen had been fired from the company a day earlier, according to a police statement.
According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Allen went to the Pritchett Trucking, Inc. where he was a longtime employee at about 9 a.m. Saturday. Deputies say Allen no longer worked for the trucking company but were not able to say when or under what circumstances he left the company.
Allen first encountered a former coworker, 28-year-old Ronaldo Gonzales-Delgado. He shot and killed the man before tracking down the 80-year-old owner of the company, Marvin Pritchett, and killing him as well, officials said.
