Does anyone see unemployment returning to 5% like the good old days?

These 15, 16, 18 and 20% rates we will be seeing in states like Michigan, California, Ohio, Illinois will kill state budgets and force the government to take over (bail-out) the states. The government will be forced to come up will a full employment strategy that will save the country.

I predict government run piramid building projects like the ancient Egyptians. We will all become the slaves of the government.

Look at Bloomberg.com with 824,000 to be added to the jobless from 2008 to 2009 underestimates.

That would take the unemployment from 4.8 million to 5.6 million.

But now they are no longer getting unemployment checks or are in the 4 tiers for extensions that are not counted in the jobless figures.

By waiting to revise, the govt will not have to show these people in the jobless figures.

Wonder how many more weeks until I run out of unemployment? Never thought it would take this long to find another job with my skills.

Wonder what U-6 is today? 17 - 18%?

Looking for projects since there are more available than jobs. You do what you need to these days.
