A bear smashed into a school and ran through the halls tearing up math books before being chased out by a janitor.
The bear shattered a glass door at Ogdensburg Elementary School in New Jersey last week and raced through the hallways.
Custodian Early Hornyak noticed the animal charging through the school and decided to go after it.
He followed the bear into a classroom where a teacher was making lessons.
Teacher Judy Donche told CBS New York: ‘The next thing you know you see this little black bear come skidding into the room. Earl says get out.’
The bear remained locked in the classroom until police arrived.
In the meantime, the bear decided to rip apart a few math books.
The bear can be seen bursting through the door on surveillance video.
The large black animal appears confused, at first, as to where to turn.
