The highly-anticipated Facebook relaunch on Thursday sees the social network revamp their news feed by filtering posts into various strands.
As of March 7, there will be multiple feeds instead of the single one at present – dividing what users see by categories including photos and music.
A source revealed to TechCrunch that larger images are also integral to the new look feed which has remained relatively unchanged since Facebook came online in 2006.
At present the Facebook feed features updates alongside a thumbnail picture of the individual, group or business who posted.
Separate feeds are available on Facebook but they are not easy to find. The music feed for example is in the apps section of the sidebar – but is mostly filled with what friends are listening to on Spotify and their ‘liked’ artist pages.
