Despite mounting evidence that the flu vaccine is completely ineffective at preventing illness, employers across America are threatening employees with termination if they refuse to get the injection.
One such employer is Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Ne. The hospital has told staff they must receive the vaccine as a condition of their employment.
A staff member commented on the mandatory nature of the vaccine. “You can refuse under 2 circumstances. An allergy, which you must get a signed doctor’s note for. Or religious belief, which you must have your clergy sign a note for. In the event that you decline the flu shot with one of these options, you are required to wear a mask for the entire flu season, which is December thru March. ”
The Colorado Board of Health has voted 7-1 that every worker in a healthcare setting will be required to receive the vaccine. This mandate will be phased in over the next three years and employees have an option: get the shot or look for a new job outside the healthcare sector.
The Michigan Department of Community Health is urging all health care facilities to impose a mandatory flu shot policy.

Flu shots triple hospitalization rates in children – but don’t expect any straight answers from the government

In a study to determine if flu vaccines reduced hospitalizations in all children, children were evaluated at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota from six months to 18 years of age, all of whom had prior laboratory-confirmed influenza.
It was found that vaccinated children had three times the risk of hospitalization compared to unvaccinated children along with a significantly higher risk for hospitalized-vaccinated asthmatics.

Mass flu vaccination drill also is practice for an emergency
By 11:05 a.m., staff at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center had vaccinated 63.1 percent of their co-workers against the flu.
That’s 3,976 people vaccinated in just less than 30 hours, with 12 more hours to reach all 6,303 St. Francis employees or, at least, as many as possible.
Universal flu vaccines for employees are a priority at St. Francis. Hospital officials say they want to make sure employees don’t spread the flu to patients or each other or get it from them.
But St. Francis’ “mass influenza immunization drill” was as much practice for a disastrous emergency – think bioterrorism, chemical spill or a deadly virus pandemic – as it was precaution against the flu.
