Germany is now having a full blown political crisis — they haven't seen such political instability since WWII.

Merkel is obliviously out of touch with the native German people.
I hope she’s forced to resign sometime soon, so the German people can move on without her.

  1. Unfortunately a new election will result in Merkel’s party coming out strongest yet again — she has dominated the press so much that most people in Germany couldn’t even name a possible alternative (except maybe Martin Schulz who is just as bad — previously leader of the useless EU parliament and a huge supporter of giving the EU more power).
Taking a risk like voting for a party unheard of before is not in German (or American, for that matter – it’s not like we ever elect anyone who isn’t a Republican or Democrat) nature.
So it’s Merkel vs. Merkel-clone (Schulz), and in original vs. copy, most people prefer the original.
If I were the SPD (Schulz’s party), I’d drop Schulz and run someone very much different from Merkel — someone who doesn’t want war with Russia, someone who thinks the EU is too powerful and should be either abolished or reduced to a loose alliance, someone who wants to restore power to the people…
But that’s not what the party wants, that would be like the Democrats deciding to kick the Clintons and run Kucinich in 2020. Just not going to happen.

    • “So it’s Merkel vs. Merkel-clone (Schulz), and in original vs. copy, most people prefer the original.” that what the Globalists had in store for us in 2016 – Clinton v Bush (original vs copy) which Trump and MAGA prevented and wrecked.

      • Indeed… Unless Clinton (original) vs. Trump (very different style, but not all that different in action – the wars are still on, I don’t see many signs of the swamp being drained, and the tax plan essentially taxes the middle class more to give handouts to the super-rich) is what they were planning from the start to discourage any real opposition (seeing how “opposition” in the form of Trump doesn’t really change things).
I’m glad Hitlery lost either way (even if Trump is one of them after all, NO MORE OF THE SAME was at least the right message to send), but it’s time for real MAGA to start… Beginning with “lock her up”.

  2. How good. By the way, they owe Spain over 450 Bn euros. Or what about equilibrium between the nations in Europe? Education of immigrants, grown, doesn’t come free. Nor there’s any business without the partners sharing benefits. Expect the invoice, it will be exacted one way or another. And other benefitiaries, take note.

  3. The political instability they experienced before and during WW2 was initiated by the western powers who worked overtime in ignoring Hitler’s frequent peace proposals in order to get Germany involved in a war. Let’s start being accurate about that time period instead of the victor’s distorted viewpoint.

  4. Who will replace Merkel? IMO many Germans would vote for Marine Le Pen. All kidding aside Marine speaks a LOT of what good Germans understand. Germans NOT migrants. Nationalism NOT Globalism. Germany NOT the EU And most importantly Political common sense not convoluted Political New Speak.
The EU is moribund and its about time. Germans for Germany.
