52 Democrats, 3 Republicans (Cochran, Collins, Shelby) and both Independents voted “yes”.
3 Democrats (Bayh, Feingold, McCaskill) and 32 Republicans voted “no”.
I find it inconceivable that a week after Moody’s suggests the US may have its credit downgraded; the Dems push through another outrageous spending bill. And that after all the promises of saving “wasteful spending” in Medicare (see Health Care Reform); another huge appropriation to that is made. And if things are so “rosy”, why do we even need a spending bill at all?
We are being lied to and stepped on, period. Passing this bill with almost no discussion in the media, with no debate, and on a Sunday says it all. Another “cram” effort by your Democrat Administration (and select sell-outs). Make them pay for this foolishness (you will)!
