Following the Florida high school shooting, House Democrats are working hard at trampling over the 2nd Amendment in the Constitution. As usual, the left’s response to a crisis is to ban guns/trample everyone’s rights via legislation instead of addressing more complicated issues, like their 4-5 decades long ‘liberal’ policies and the social/moral decay that followed. Getting back to our news story, Rep. David Cicilline, (D-R.I.) announced on Monday that House Democrats are going all in on what has been described as the Assault Weapons Ban of 2018. More than 150 DEMs in the House already signed on the respective bill according to Rep. Ted Deutch (Florida Democrat).
Today I joined @RepCicilline and 150+ of my colleagues to introduce the assault weapons ban. It’s time for Congress to listen to the will of a majority of Americans and pass sensible legislation to get these weapons of war off our streets. #NeverAgain #MSDStrong

The Assault Weapons Ban of 2018 bill supported by the vast majority of the Democrats lists more than 205 types of handguns and rifles that would be banned, provided the bill passes through Congress and gets signed by President Trump. Obviously, the now (in) famous AR-15 rifle and the iconic AK 47 are on the list. The bill would make it, let me quote:
“unlawful for a person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a semiautomatic assault weapon.”
If you know anything about firearms, you probably realize that the Democrats are looking to end the Second Amendment once and for all, as the vast majority of handguns and rifles are semi-automatic; forget about the made-up term “assault weapon”, which means absolutely nothing and it’s aimed at scaring the crap out of people who don’t know squat about guns. The NRA tweeted on Tuesday:
In addition to rifles, this bill would ban virtually every self-defense handgun sold in US.- but the anti-gunners swear they aren't trying to ban guns…🙄https://t.co/y2zN3RZCun

In the aftermath of the Florida high school shooting, the left-wing corporate mainstream media has been calling for no less than a complete repeal of the 2nd Amendment in the US Constitution, and if you think I am exaggerating, check out this or this (by the way, NPR is taxpayer funded, let that sink in). However, regardless of the left’s pipe-dream to destroy individual freedoms and to confiscate guns, it’s highly unlikely that President Trump would sign such an unconstitutional bill into law. Here’s Trump:
“What we are looking for are solutions that don’t ban a class of firearms for all individuals but ban all weapons for certain individuals who are identified as threats to public safety.”
The POTUS said that the left is just doing what it does best, playing politics that is, as they were not capable of passing gun control legislation when dear leader Barry Obama from Honolulu was President and they controlled both the House and the Senate:
Just like they don’t want to solve the DACA problem, why didn’t the Democrats pass gun control legislation when they had both the House & Senate during the Obama Administration. Because they didn’t want to, and now they just talk!

Look at other countries with gun bans. Ask the people of those countries if they fear their governments. Ask China, Russia, North Korea, South American countries, Middle East countries. When people fear their government, there is tyranny. When the government fears its people, you have freedom.
Unless the 2nd Amendment has been repealed (newsflash: it hasn’t been), then Rep. Cicilline and every Demoncrat who sponsored this legislation is committing a felony.
18 USC 242 (Conspiracy Against Rights):
