I am a homeowner about to lose my home.

I have been making an average of 6 figures a year over the past 15 years. After getting layed off last year for no apparent reason other than my employed said the banks put them in a fiscal crises situation, my income has now dropped to around 35K per year. The banks would not negotiate. Obama plan was another false promise. If you want to put people like me in Prison…have at it! At least I’ll have a roof over my head and you can foot the extra taxes for my food and shelter. Putting millions of people like me in Prison is not going to solve the problem. My point is… the anger and corrective action should not be directed towards the homeowners. This is like getting angry over people who lost thier thier 401K’s. The anger should be over the people who caused the mess in the first place. Ask yourself some common sense questions. Why did people who didn’t have proper documentation get loans in the first place? Why was good credit and employment status not a factor anymore? Why was the standard 20 percent down payment waived? Why was Fannie and Freddie used as an insurance policy for wreckless banking policies? Why were the Banks forced into making these loans?

If the Federal Government continues to make these foolish policies, we the people will continue to suffer the consequences. We the people are the ones who ultimately have to clean up their mess with our hard earned dollars, higher taxes, higher inflation, devaluation of our currency, dependent on borrowing from foreign countries, high unemployment, loss of homeowner equity, high foreclosure rate on homeowners and commercial property, more welfare costs and ultimately the Collapse and Bankruptcy of the US economy. Do you want to put all the business people who are defaulting on their commercial properties in Jail too? Get a grip people. Stop listening to the propaganda and use your common sense. This is a Government caused disaster! They are to blame! Not us! BTW..they are continuing on with their wreckless policies. Nothing has changed except for giving billions to the banks because they were too important to fail. Guess what…the banks that got the Government bailouts made record profits last year and paid Billions in bonuses to the same people who are continuing to make the same bad loans. What’s wrong with this picture?
