I was a pit trader in my former life.

The commodity side, debt markets in particular, specifically, 30 years bonds, although after the bonds closed I play around with the S&Ps. However, I have “played” every commodity available at the time.

What I have learned (at least when I was on the floor) is that you can NOT beat the traders on a long term basis at their own game.

I don’t care how fast your internet platform is, or how many “tip sheets” you get” or your system.

Although I had a great year in 2008 playing the trends, I have, except for one trade, stayed out of the market ever since Mr. Obama and his team took over.

I’m 100% in varies money market accounts and couldn’t be happy, I’m much too old to go back on the floor or start over again.

I made my few pennies - way enough for me and my families needs.

HOWEVER, the few rules that still play out, I like to share some experiences, most recently with the head fake on the Dow Friday when it shot up 160 points in the morning. I think I posted at least a dozen times what would happen. So, at this point in my life that’s the give back I can offer. (And that’s not always sure as money flies around the globe in record speed),

You guys have no idea what goes on - on the floor. And Any trader that goes on TV and tries to tell the truth will never been seen again. Just play it according to the rules.
