IT’S OFFICIAL: GEORGIA ERASES TAX BREAK FOR DELTA AFTER POLITICAL NRA BOYCOTT

Georgia lawmakers voted Thursday to do away with a tax break for Delta Air Lines after it joined in a political boycott, severing ties with the NRA.
The tax break consisted of a $50 million jet fuel tax exemption.
Fox New quoted Georgia Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, saying, “Businesses have every legal right to make their own decisions, but the Republican majority in our state legislature also has every right to govern guided by our principles.”

Georgia lawmakers threatened to eliminate Delta’s jet fuel tax exemption because of its NRA decision, now the CEO is in full-scale damage control mode!

Just 13 Delta passengers bought tickets using NRA discount that cost airline a $40 million Georgia tax break. That’s $3 million per ticket.

“NRAs controversial statements”
“We are not taking sides”
“Delta’s intent was to remain neutral”
Is anyone else tired of Fortune 500 newspeak? Liberal have infected all our institutions, America is going to pay a price for having unstable, partisan, and unethical people at the helm of our corporations

UPDATE:
AS A WISE COMMUNITY ORGANIZER ADVISES, GET IN THEIR FACES, AND PUNCH BACK TWICE AS HARD: Delta CEO tells CNN, ‘We are supporters of the 2nd Amendment.’
Get woke, go broke. There’s a valuable lesson here for other corporations: Maybe next time don’t immediately surrender to the SJW outrage mob — they’re not your core customers, despise your business, and are eager to see you fail, even if you do implement whatever their harebrained wishes of the day are.

Related: “So, let me explain what’s going on with this and the NRA benefits thing: none of this came together on the fly; this is a carefully researched strategy that’s being executed now [because] the moment is favorable.”
More: “USA Today reported that only 13 Delta passengers had taken advantage of the NRA discount, which ‘translates into each discount costing the airline about $3 million in tax breaks’ the company lost in Georgia.”
Since many, if not all opponents of the Second Amendment believe that paying higher taxes is patriotic, why on earth would Delta want their tax break returned?
