China urges “peaceful” solution to North Korea tensions during early morning Wednesday phone call!
BEIJING — Chinese President Xi Jinping urged President Trump to find a peaceful solution to the crisis on the Korean Peninsula during a telephone call between the two leaders early Wednesday, Chinese state media reported.
The phone call comes just four days after the pair held face-to-face talks in Florida and hours after Trump tweeted that North Korea was “looking for trouble,” and the United States would “solve the problem” with or without China’s help.
The People’s Daily, the official Communist Party mouthpiece, said Xi had thanked Trump for his “warm hospitality and thoughtful arrangements” in Florida, but also took the chance to discuss their “common concerns” about the Korean Peninsula and urge against any military escalation of the situation.
“Xi Jinping stressed that China insists on realizing the goal of denuclearization of the peninsula, insists on maintaining peace and stability on the peninsula, advocates resolving the problem through peaceful means and is willing to maintain communication and coordination with the U.S. side on the issue of the peninsula,” the paper wrote.

Every time a new crisis arises involving N. Korea, the US reminds the world it’s battle plan against the regime may and probably will include use of nuclear weapons, if, in good time, conventional means do not bring the country into compliance with US diktat. So, are we surprised when N. Korea insist on possessing nuclear weapons as a deterrent? In any case, sending a naval complement to N. Korea waters is the wrong thing to do. Despite what the Pentagon and media say, N. Korea will not attack anybody without serious provocation. Remove the provocations and things will quiet down. Then we can pursue alternative means to bring North and South Korea to the table for talks on ending the war and on the potential for reunification(something the Pentagon does not want).
Nuclear weapons did deter intervention into Libya. When Gaddaffi gave up his weapons the Killary invaded making Libya the launching place for ISIS into Syria and US weapons and hard cash drops. We came, we saw, we killed (hahaha)
