Just a thought for all of you on “government” healthcare this a.m.

Catch all the news stories on the “government” panel “recommending” that mammograms NOT be given until age 50 - now at age 40, the “big” concerns are “false” positives and unnecessary stress and biopsies. Meanwhile, although not perfect, 15% of all cases are caught with this method. And as with all medical technology, it continues to improve in imaging capability.

So, what does this mean? Well, IF the government controlled healthcare there would be no “recommendation” - your doctor would simply be told NO TEST. Second, IT IS ALL ABOUT COST!

You are fooling yourself if you think the government running healthcare will be an improvement.
