A Tennessee woman who didn’t know she was pregnant has given birth with just five hours’ warning but after years of trying to conceive.
Amanda Prentice and her husband Billy, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, had been trying to get pregnant for four years and had begun to consider adopting when their ‘miracle baby’ entered their lives.
‘This is Allie McKinley Rose,’ Mrs Prentice told WSMV, cradling her 5lb, 5 ounce baby. ‘She’s a miracle.’

But while Mrs Prentice’s pregnancy seemed easy, with her never once detecting a substantial change in her body, first learning of her pregnancy was another matter.
The news came last month when Mrs Prentice was admitted to a Lawrenceburg hospital for seizures, something that had come as an abrupt mystery to the couple.
