It is disheartening to continually hear our President fly around the world and apologize to everyone for our way of life. He has essentially @#$%&! in the face of every American citizen and burdened us in a mountain of debt and higher taxes. He continues to “embrace” the challenges of other countries and neglects home.
“If we put the right rules and incentives in place, it will unleash the creative power of our best scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs.”
The problem here is the right incentives are NOT in place! Why would any small business owner want to expand their business when government is just going to redistribute their hard earned money? There has been no serious talk of putting an effective legal framework in place and prosecuting the corrupt. Bailing out Wall Street and lining the pockets of inner connected elites is not hallmarks of free market capitalism. It is borderline socialism and sends the wrong message not only to Americans but the world. Everyone around the world is laughing at him myself included, he is oblivious and clueless with respect to spur job growth and lay the foundation for economic recovery.
“We have now reached one of those rare inflection points in history where we have the opportunity to take a different path.”
Your right, we have reached a pivotal point in American history. Now is the time to break the oligarchy of the mega banks and demand all TARP money back. Unfortunately there is a conflict of interest and no real change for the better will take place. It time to invest in the good people of America not the corrupt elites and government bureaucrats. Just a warning if Cap and Trade passes you can kiss any sort of recovery goodbye. Manufacturing will move to foreign lands and we can not recover without our manufacturing base running at 100%. There is going to be sever unintended consequences of a weak dollar policy and the continued BS from Washington.
