AIG already insolvent and it’s share is already worthless. And now it still insist to pay bonuses to those so-called talents in our taxpayer’s money, perhaps some of money come from the profit by the recent reverse stock split approved by them.
We the tax paying people of this country own 70% of AIG, as an owner why wasn’t I given a proxy statement and voting rights.
The role of current Government is to reward failure. From TV’s and free health care for our prisoners, to free cell phones for our welfare recipients, to be consistent the leaders of AIG are being rewarded for arranging venture capital from Obama. It is TOTAL CARE.
When will our Government learn?! I’m actually afraid now that we’ll give them Billions more to keep them propped up!

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) — American International Group Inc. is preparing to pay millions of dollars more in bonuses to several dozen top corporate executives even though an earlier round of payments four months ago set off a national furor, the Washington Post reported late Thursday. The insurer is unnecessarily seeking federal government approval for the move, putting the administration’s new compensation czar Kenneth Feinberg on the spot by seeking his opinion on bonuses that were promised long before he took his post, the report said. “Anytime we write a check to anybody” it is highly scrutinized, the report quoted an unnamed AIG official as saying. “We would want to feel comfortable that the government is comfortable with what we are doing.”
