A real eye opener what a seasonal adjustment will do - and remember, they are no longer valid as there IS NO JOB RECOVERY following!

This one does display too nicely but the columns are the entire labor pool, the “unemployed”, the “underemployed” for economic reasons and those not in the labor pool who want a job now.

Date … Total Labor Unemploy + Underemploy + Not In, Want
Jan 06 … 149,090 … 7,608 … 4,597 … 5,095
Jan 07 … 151,924 … 7,649 … 4,726 … 4,633
Jan 08 … 152,828 … 8,221 … 5,340 … 4,977
Jan 09 … 153,445 … 13,009 … 8,829 … 5,866
Dec 09 … 152,693 … 14,740 … 9,354 … 5,939
Jan 10 … 152,957 … 16,147 … 9,290 … 6,108
Grand Totals And Percent Of Labor Force
Date … UN and UNDER
………… Employed … % of Labor
Jan 06 … 17,300,000 … 11.2%
Jan 07 … 17,008,000 … 10.9%
Jan 08 … 18,538,000 … 11.7%

Dec 09 … 30,033,000 … 18.9%
