Dick Durbin you might want to read the Constitution you stupid ignoramous.

It is difficult to fathom America has sunk this low; electing politicians that do not protect, defend, and uphold The United States Constitution, the very document they swore to protect, defend, and uphold when they took office. This violation of their oath is clearly impeachable.

  • Christopher Calumny

Once again I agree with Sen. Durbin. People have to understand they no longer have ANY constitutional protections. What the govt wants, the govt gets. Period.
Americans are too fat, lazy, stupid, ill-informed and distracted by Glee, baseball and alcohol to really care. America was a good idea, but it’s now doomed.
And we did it all by ourselves!

You sound like a frightened little girl. Don’t cry.

really excellent comments – better to send these comments directly to the Traitor…i mean, Senator, by snail mail or phone.

    Senator Durbin,
Please let me educate you. The US Constitution, regardless of the powers of the US Supreme Court, protects free speech; it is a god given right. Blogs/tweets/email are simply extensions of free speech, and therefore are protected under the 1st Amendment. What I would like to know is why none of your ilk, after swearing an oath to uphold the Constitution, fail miserably to do so. In 1776 your in-actions were treasonous, and punishable by death.

This jack off is a Senator and HE doesn’t understand the First Amendment?
You should learn your US Constitution BEFORE you run for an elected position in the US Congress!
Obviously you are TOTALLY unqualified for the position!
The people that voted you in where either 1. Unaware that you are a fraud or 2. Stupid as stone.
Save the country some Congressional salary and quit.

Speak for yourself….Calumny. If you agree with this idiot that make you an idiot.

so .. those who don’t serve the interests of the governing elite shouldn’t have any protections. I guess they should count themselves lucky they’re not tagged as “terrorist” and droned.

  • usurykills

No mention of bloggers or “journalists” in the Constitution.

I’m not sure Dick Durbin should be a Senator.

This isn’t the first time that this treasonous nitwit has embraced the forces of darkness. Prior to Bush’s criminal attack on Iraq ten years ago Senator Durbin was one a number of Senators privy to an administration briefing which made it clear to them that that war was based on lies. What did he do with that vital information? Nothing. He was sworn to silence! He honored that bogus oath and not his oath to uphold the Constitution. If he had a conscience, he would have spoken out publicly and could perhaps have single-handedly stopped that still ongoing, multi-trillion $ war crime. Instead Durbin’s oath to a criminal regime was more important to him than his humanity, more important than the suffering, impoverishment and death of millions of innocent Iraqis, more important than an unimaginable environmental and health catastrophe wrought by the use of depleted uranium.
