Stay Fuelled at Work with These Super Foods

Successful investors barely have time to catch a breath, let alone plan their meals for the day as markets continuously fluctuate. But what many busy business people don’t realise is how important it is to stay fuelled to really maximise your productivity. There have been countless studies into this, including one from the British Journal of Health Psychology which found that people who ate more fruit and vegetables throughout the day were happier and more creative. Taking the time to plan your daily food could give you the boost you need, so here we have listed some of the best superfoods to get you going.
Avocados

Avocados are packed full of vitamins and nutrients to help you operate at your highest level at all times. The USDA National Nutrient Database says that the fruit which originated in South Central Mexico includes vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as other healthy ingredients such as omega-3 and potassium. Everyone’s got their own preference for how avocados should be served, and some people are happy to eat them simply with a spoon. Turning it into guacamole can be a really satisfying way of enjoying it, and this makes for a great snack to eat while busy doing other things at work. According to Deliveroo, the best way to create a rewarding guacamole is to use fresh fruit to make it and go for a chunky texture.
Green Tea

Although coffee is the traditional drink of choice to perk workers up in the morning, a healthier alternative has emerged and is starting to challenge the rich beans for supremacy. This is, of course, green tea, and it can now be purchased from pretty much every coffee shop in existence. The famous Chinese drink is known for having natural energy enhancing qualities without any adverse side effects. The best type to go for is matcha, which involves using the whole tea leaf rather than just soaking it in water. If you want to give yourself an added boost at work, how about trying this over the caffeine-filled cups you may normally opt for?
Nuts

Nuts are another easy snack to just pick away at while you get on with more pressing matters. Most nuts are packed full of protein and unsaturated fats which give you energy, and they also feature some ingredients which are excellent for maintaining a healthy heart. These include fibre, omega-3 fatty acids, and Vitamin E. Some of the best nuts to go for include cashews, peanuts, almonds, and macadamias, according to The Daily Meal. If you don’t feel like simply snacking away on a bag of nuts, there are some great meals that you could order for lunch which involve them. A Thai dish which features chicken stir-fried with cashew nuts would be an excellent choice for a break time treat.
Eating healthy food at work is easy if you know what to stock up on. Other things like berries, oats, and bananas are all excellent energy providers that you can snack on simply while working. Make an effort to get more superfoods into your work diet, and see your productivity skyrocket.
