Rumor? Obama Pulling C17’s From Afghanistan War To Transport Campaign Gear Around The U.S.

“Apparently a huge percentage of our C17’s are being pulled for ‘Presidential Duty’ meaning instead of working to airlift troops and equipment in and out of Afghanistan and cover the other global logistics they are hauling the POTUS gear around on the campaign trail. If this is true I’d love someone to bring it to light. I lack the connections to check it out myself especially from here. I hope […]

The department violated its own regulations on handling firearms in evidence by engraving marks on the sides of the guns, and the city should reimburse the soldier for the loss.

The Afghanistan war veteran was wrongly arrested while lawfully transporting his firearms from New […]

HOPE: Obama’s war plans rely on peace

From Washington Times:

In dumping the Pentagon’s two-war strategy, President Obama is reversing a doctrine adopted by Republican and Democratic presidents, including himself.

His 2010 Quadrennial Defense Review, a congressionally mandated document that lists the armed forces’ major missions and required forces, stated that the U.S. is “maintaining the ability to prevail against two capable nation-state aggressors” in “overlapping time frames.”

But Mr. Obama’s revised strategy, on which he put his personal imprint by announcing it at […]

A new NBC News poll showed that the president’s job approval rating ticked up to 52 percent after the successful strike against al Qaeda’s leader. That’s just three percentage points higher than the approval rating he received in April, before the raid.

That modest gain reflects Americans’ continuing concerns over an economy in which growth has slowed and the unemployment rate remains high at 9 percent.
