If you recall, Winston Smith’s job in George Orwell’s classic novel 1984 was to go into historical records and literally change history. He would alter photographs and text in the archives so that history would always portray “The Party” in a positive light and as omniscient.
Well folks, this behavior has arrived in America and we better nip it in the bud fast before one of these drones is [...]

Talk of a joint U.S.-Israeli military strike on Iran has waned recently — while talk of U.S.-Israel cyberattacks have taken its place — but that hasn’t stopped Iran, Israel and the U.S. from continuing “to prepare all other options“ for a possible strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities.
U.S. defense contracts, an Iranian F-16 acquisition, and Israel’s new military preparations suggest that all sides are getting ready for whatever may come.
Among recent U.S. defense contracts that could relate [...]

“…it would be far more preferable if the United States could cite an Iranian provocation as justification for the airstrikes before launching them. Clearly, the more outrageous, the more deadly, and the more unprovoked the Iranian action, the better off the United States would be.
Of course, it would be very difficult for the United States to goad Iran into such a provocation without the rest of [...]

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel has authorized its military to take all necessary steps to stop rocket fire from Gaza, including a ground operation, an Israeli military official said Tuesday, as Egypt worked on a truce and said Israel had agreed to delay stepping up its response.
