BEIJING (AP) — Top Chinese leaders have a better understanding of America’s new focus on the Asia-Pacific region, but they are concerned that there is too much emphasis on China’s military build-up rather than economic or diplomatic efforts, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Wednesday.

WASHINGTON – About 9,000 U.S. Marines stationed on the Japanese island of Okinawa will be moved to the U.S. territory of Guam and other locations in the Asia-Pacific, including Hawaii, under a U.S.-Japan agreement announced Thursday.

Asian and Middle Eastern cities dominate the list of the world’s ten cheapest cities,according to the Economist Intelligence Unit’s bi-annual cost of living report.
