JUST IN: Boston police officer, 2 others shot in Dorchester

A police officer has been taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital after being shot while responding to an incident in Dorchester.

Police spokesperson Elaine Driscoll said a man and woman were also shot at 22 Dunbar Ave. and that the man is in critical condition at Boston Medical Center. Driscoll said the officer and the woman each suffered injuries considered not to be life-threatening. – Source

Dallas Wiens, the 25-year-old father who sustained severe burns when his head touched a high voltage wire, received his long-awaited face transplant last week.
