Quick-thinking officers were caught on camera saving a suicidal man about to leap from a 140ft bridge.

Dramatic dash-cam footage shows the moment the pair sprinted up to the man and restrained him – moments before he was about to jump into the Columbia River from off the Bridge of Gods.

They kicked into action after Portland police were warned that a suicidal man was heading there to jump.
