James Murdoch could be hauled before a judge in the U.S. to answer questions about phone hacking even after fleeing Britain.

UK government says rubber bullets can be used against students due to protest in London, against tuition fees on Wednesday:

Rubber bullets were carried only “by a small number of trained officers”, the Metropolitan Police said

Rubber bullets could be used in cases of “extreme” disorder at a tuition-fees protest in London on Wednesday, a Scotland Yard commander has said.
