Articles & Blogs - Silver Commentary
For several years I have been touting silver’s Unique Anti-Microbial Properties. Out of the nearly infinite list of technological/industrial applications for silver, it always seemed inevitable to me that this one use would ultimately become our single greatest need for the Metal Of The Moon.
That suspicion/fear could, in turn, be traced back to a single threat which has loomed in an ever larger, ever more-menacing manner: Super-Bugs. This is [...]
Leaked emails report that ambulance drivers are having fuel rationed – as an industry leader described the crisis as “self-inflicted insanity”.
One email, seen by Sky News, suggested that ambulances were being forced to join lenghty queues at petrol stations and restricted to a maximum of £50 of petrol.
Another email suggested that police and ambulance drivers were turning up to designated petrol stations to demand that fuel be held back for [...]

The number of children in hazardous work has gradually reduced globally, but experts warned that multi-pronged efforts remained needed to eliminate the health-risk-prone and inhumane form of employment for the under-aged population, particularly in Asia-Pacific and sub-Saharan Africa where the number and the incidence rate remained high, according to a new report released globally this afternoon to mark the World Day against Child Labour [...]
SINGAPORE (AP) — Eye scanners and futuristic security tunnels may be standard in airports soon as the airline industry seeks to maintain safety while reducing the hassles of boarding a plane that deter some people from flying.
