BREAKING: Helicopter crashes into crane in LONDON! Fatalities Confirmed VIDEO

A helicopter has crashed into a crane in Vauxhall, south London, the city’s fire service has confirmed.

The crash involved two cars and an unknown number of people, London Fire Service said.

Witnesses said at least six or seven fire engines are at the scene, and a pall of smoke is visible near the River Thames.

Parts of Northern Ireland have been experiencing flooding following a series of heavy downpours.

Police said most of the main arterial routes in east and south Belfast were impassable because of flood water, abandoned cars and debris.

A 10-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being struck by lightning in Merthyr Tydfil.

Erin Moran was sitting in the window of her house at King Edward Villas and suffered injuries to the upper body and lower leg.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said her injuries were minor but could have been much worse.

A roof has collapsed at a mall in the Auckland suburb of Albany and the building is being evacuated, reports say. Police have confirmed injuries in the area.

The Fire Service has dispatched multiple appliances to the area and is receiving 111 calls from residents.
