Facebook is trying a new crazy idea to make money

Facebook is casting around for new sources of revenue, Geoffrey Fowler and Shayndi Raice of the Wall Street Journal report.

 

One new feature the company is testing is called “Highlight.”

Currently live in New Zealand, Highlight allows you to pay up to NZ$2 (~$1.50 US) to be sure that your friends see a post. It’s a per-post charge.

Girl, 15, set to graduate from college – weeks before she completes high school

A 15-year-old who started college aged 12 is due to graduate with her degree this month – weeks before she graduates from high school.

Kimberly Koerth has completed her Associate’s degree at Central Arizona College with a 4.0 average and will graduate on Saturday.
