JACKSON, Ga. (AP) — A Georgia man convicted of killing his parents and sister was executed Thursday after the courts allowed what was likely the nation’s first video-recorded execution in almost two decades.

The Georgia Supreme Court today rejected a stay of tonight’s scheduled execution of Cobb County killer Andrew Grant DeYoung, but it is allowing the lethal injection to be videotaped.
