Pro-Gadhafi forces try to retake strategic city

TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) – Government opponents in rebel-held Zawiya repelled an attempt by forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi to retake the city closest to the capital in six hours of fighting overnight, witnesses said Tuesday.
