The International Committee of the Red Cross said on Tuesday that the organization’s staff experienced working in conflict areas will now concentrate on Europe.
“We need to prepare for more violence here,” ICRC Director General Yves Daccord told the Danish daily Politiken.

At least 1 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance inside Syria.
Over 78,000 Syrians are living as refugees in neighbouring countries.

A roadside blast wounded six Syrian soldiers as they escorted United Nations monitors toward the restive southern town of Dara’a.
