He can’t see but, boy can he play! The incredible blind teen who can recite any song on the piano… after hearing it just ONCE

Ask blind teenager Kuha’o to play any song on his piano and he will… after hearing it just once.

Concerns grow over children using tablet computers

Electronic tablets like the iPad are a revolutionary educational tool and are becoming part of childhood, but should be watched carefully so that overuse doesn’t lead to learning or behavioral problems, experts say.

“It’s a topic that really emerged in the last two years. You can’t pull it from their hands,” Warren Buckleitner, editor of Children’s Technology Review, said this week at a New York panel titled “Baby Brains and Video Games.”

According to a late 2011 [...]

Half of US Homes Own APPLE Products

Half of all U.S. households own at least one Apple product, according toCNBC’s All-America Economic survey.

That’s more than 55 million homes with at least one iPhone, iPad, iPod or Mac computer. And one-in-10 homes that aren’t currently in that group plan to join it in the next year.

But Apple [AAPL  617.62    3.14  (+0.51%)   ]doesn’t have to worry about brand saturation any time soon. Americans don’t stop with just one device. Homes that own least one Apple, [...]

New iPad lies about its battery being full (and the ‘glitch’ can leave users an HOUR short )

When Apple’s new iPad tells you that it has 100% battery, it isn’t always telling the truth.

The gadget starts to say that it is ‘full’ when it’s at 90% – a difference that can cost users 1.2 hours’ usage.

The reason, says ZDNet, is that the formula used to calculate when the device is ‘full’ is slightly out – a safety mechanism used by Apple to prevent people overcharging their gadgets.

Kevin Marder: Apple is one to avoid as Institutional shareholders have been liquidating their stakes in Apple

Institutional shareholders have been liquidating their stakes in Apple, notes Kevin Marder in MarketWatch’s Trading Deck.

Shares of the iPad, iPhone, iPod, and Mac maker  AAPL attempted two breakouts in the past two months, but shares have substantially lagged the S&P 500 SPX.

Heavy selling occurred following the Sept. 19 and  Oct. 14breakout attempts “as institutions with hefty positions to disgorge waited until they could sell into strength,” Marder wrote.
