Support for President Barack Obama among Jews in the state of Florida is down 7 percent on 2008, according to an American Jewish Committee (AJC) poll released Thursday.
A total of 69% of Florida Jews said they would vote for Obama in November’s presidential elections, down from 76% in 2008, the AJC noted.
A 7% drop in the Jewish vote likely represents over 50,000 votes in a state that the Republicans won [...]
A new advertisement scheduled to run in Florida makes the case that President Obama has pushed the Democratic Party to embrace anti-Israel policies, according to a copy of the ad obtained by the Free Beacon.
In the coming days, the Emergency Committee for Israel, a pro-Israel advocacy organization, will release an ad entitled, “Whose Democratic Party?”

Barack Obama cares about Barack Obama far more than he does about either Israel or Iran. And as far as Barack Obama is concerned, delaying the coming war between Israel and Iran until after the election is what is best for Barack Obama. Just think about it. If Israel attacked Iran right now, who would that please? It would mostly please hardcore Republicans, and they are not going to [...]

There is going to be war in the Middle East. It is just a matter of time until it happens. Israel has decided that there is no way that it can ever allow Iran to develop the capability to build nuclear weapons. Iran has gone “all-in” on developing a nuclear program and it has become a matter of national pride at this point. Iran does not fear an Israeli [...]

Israel has said it is contemplating air strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites
Israel is planning a military strike against Iran’s nuclear programme before November, security sources in Israel have claimed.
British officials say prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has begun a process of ‘sounding out’ his voters to gauge support for airstrikes [...]
China’s official press agency slammed Mitt Romney for asserting that Israel’s capital is Jerusalem, saying his remarks “totally neglect historical facts” and could even “reignite” a war with Palestinians.
“U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s statement that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel is likely to worsen the already tense Mideast situation, and even reignite a war between Palestinians and Israelis,” the Xinhua news agency wrote in an editorial Tuesday.
“Romney’s remarks totally neglect historical facts [...]
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta heads today to the Middle East where tensions are rising over the democratic transition in Egypt, turmoil in Syria and Iran’s suspected advances toward nuclear weapons.
His trip to Tunisia, Egypt, Israel and Jordan has a security agenda, including new concerns about Syrian chemical weapons, along with election-season political stakes. Panetta is scheduled to arrive in Israel on the heels of a visit by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who has appealed to Jewish voters by attacking [...]
Channel 2′s veteran Middle East analyst Ehud Yaari, who is back from a trip to the U.S., said Friday night that an Israeli attack on Iran can be expected in October.
“I will give you an impression,” he told anchorman Danny Kushmaro on Channel 2 TV’s Ulpan Shishi, “and this is just an impression, but it is a strong impression, after conversations with the people one needs to talk with about [...]
In an interview, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi said that she believes Republican Jews are “being exploited,” but she was sure to add, “And they’re smart people.”
Pelosi made the comments in response to whether Jewish voters would support President Barack Obama in the presidential election later this year.
“I think [Obama] will” win the Jewish vote, Pelosi said, when pressed on the subject. “I think that he will, because the fact [...]
President Obama awarded the nation’s highest civilian medal Wednesday night to Israeli President Shimon Peres as frustration mounts in Israel over the administration’s handling of Iran and as signs emerge of a possible backlash among Jewish voters in the U.S.
From appearances, the Medal of Freedom ceremony in the East Room of the White House, with toasts followed by a reception in honor of Mr. Peres, exemplified what Mr. Obama calls his “unshakable” commitment toIsrael.
The president said Mr. Peres “knows the [...]
From WSJ:
President Barack Obama has signed an executive order targeting people and companies facilitating human-rights abuses with technology, part of a broader push by the White House to combat mass atrocities at a time of heightened concern over civilian massacres in places like Syria.
The order authorizes sanctions and visa bans against people using information technology who commit or facilitate grave human-rights abuses related to “Syrian and Iranian regime brutality,” the [...]
MJ Rosenberg, the radical leftist who was recently ousted from his position at Media Matters for America, is now writing a blog where he continues to propagate his anti-Israel and anti-Jewish views.
He wrote on Monday that the most “ridiculous (and insulting) White House pander came at Hanukah” when kosher food was served at a high-profile event.
He references a New York Times article, which describes “A Lubavitch SWAT team” expunging the [...]
Speaking at the Congressional Black Caucus annual awards dinner in Washington Saturday night, President Obama made a verbal boo-boo.
While defending his call for the rich to pay more in taxes, the president said he didn’t mind people calling him a class warrior for merely asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a Jew. Whoops!
The president meant to say “janitor” instead of “Jew,” [...]

Ynet’s Washington reporter, Yitzhak Ben – Horin, produced last night a clear and succinct reading of Obama’s recent UN General Assembly address:
“Likudnic in the White House.”
“Netanyahu could not have written it better.”
“Obama at this point, is in line with the Likud party.”
“Obama is a pro-Israel president …Since January 2009, he provided Israel with all its needs both in diplomacy and in terms of security”
Obama is [...]
In New York magazine this week, John Heilemann contends that President Obama is the “best thing Israel has going for it right now” and despite some setbacks he remains a president “every bit as pro-Israel as the country’s own prime minister — and, if you look from the proper angle, maybe even more so.”
The cover story‘s attention-grabbing, Toni Morrison-esque characterization of Obama as “The First Jewish [...]
From NYT:
WASHINGTON — Not since Jimmy Carter in 1980 has a Democrat running for president failed to win a lopsided majority of the Jewish vote. This has been true during times of peace or war, and even when there has been deep acrimony between the White House and the Israeli government.
Republicans see a chance to change that in 2012, with President Obama locked in a tense relationship [...]

With the outcome of his own reelection effort 14 difficult months away, President Obama suffered a sharp rebuke Tuesday when voters in New York elected a conservative Republican to represent a Democratic district that has not been in GOP hands since the 1920s.
Bob Turner, the winner, cast the election as a referendum on Obama’s stewardship of the economy and, in the state’s Ninth Congressional District, [...]
The U.S. has decided to formally resume contact with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood group – which does not recognize Israel – in a move that could further alienate some Jewish voters already skeptical of President Barack Obama, it was reported.
One senior U.S. official said the Brotherhood’s rise in political prominence after the forced departure of former President Hosni Mubarak earlier this year makes the American [...]

President Barack Obama is likely to be defeated in 2012. The reason is that he faces four serious threats. The economy is very weak and unlikely to experience a robust recovery by Election Day. Key voter groups have soured on him. He’s defending unpopular policies. And he’s made bad strategic decisions.
Let’s start with the economy. Unemployment is at 9.1%, with almost 14 million [...]
