CHICAGO (CBS) — Authorities are investigating whether the City Of Chicago’s website is under a cyber attack, CBS 2 has learned.

The main portal to cityofchicago.org was not accessible Sunday morning

Fighter Jets In Skies Over Chicago On Friday Morning Before NATO Summit

CHICAGO (CBS) - U.S. fighter jets will be actively flying over Chicago on Friday as part of a security drill in the days before the NATO Summit.

The U.S. North American Aerospace Defense (NORAD) Command Region fighters–including Air Force KC-135 tankers, Air Force F-16s, and a Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin helicopters–will be visible on Friday morning, beginning around 9 a.m..

SAFE: Heavy metal fencing erected in Chicago around site of NATO conference

Four days away from the NATO Summit in Chicago, fencing was erected around the site of the weekend meetings.

Heavy metal fencing was brought in overnight by the truckload and set up across the street from McCormick Place, where world leaders will convene Sunday and Monday.

Chicago Officials Ban Food, Drinks, Backpacks On City Trains

CHICAGO (CBS) — Some commuters will have to make alternate plans during the NATO Summit, as Metra today said it will close several stations on the Electric Line.
