Rogue state North Korea is threatening to shut down an industrial development inside its borders which is also used by South Korea.
The Kaesong factory complex is the last major symbol of inter-Korean co-operation.
But a spokesman for North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s office controlling the complex said today it would close the factory park just across the border in North Korea if Seoul continued to undermine its dignity.

And the mystery deepened as DNA [...]

DYSON: When we see these kind of conflagrations, we’re able to point the finger and say, ‘Oh, how horrible it is’ — but we’re horrible, too, because we’ve quietly fueled and fomented the kind of unnecessary hostility towards Muslims that we ought to take a mirror at and look at ourselves.

No need to spend hours in front of a mirror perfecting paparazzi-worthy poses as a new study suggests a scientifically proven pattern.
Both men and women are perceived as more attractive when pictured on their left side as opposed to their right.
Though the theory may not be new, as it dates back to the time of oil paintings when subjects tended to tilt their head to show more of the left [...]
Sick of all the prank calls and snickering tourists, the village of F—ing in upper Austria has decided to change its name. But another village that made the same name change almost 200 years ago is having none of it.
The roughly 100 residents of the unfortunately named upper Austrian village have endured gawking visitors ever since American servicemen stationed nearby at the end of World War II discovered [...]
Via Peter Tchir of TF Market Advisors,
The last hour has spewed forth more disingenuous clap-trap from European finance ministers. From ‘sufficiency of the firewall’ to the ‘absurdity of Spain needing a bailout’, it beggars belief that these humans can look at themselves in the mirror every morning (as they feel the ‘need’ to lie’ – or are simply ignorant of the reality).
European Sovereign Yields have been under pressure for most of [...]

With the Asian markets set to open later today, there are growing concerns that Standard & Poor’s downgrade of the U.S.’s credit rating from AAA to AA+ could rock global financial markets.
S&P is standing by the decision to downgrade the U.S.
The rating agency’s managing director John Chambers blames the downgrade squarely on Washington politics, saying “this is not a serious way to run a country.”

A headline caught my eye last week, beyond all the ink spent on European debt woes. It read, “Hungry China Shops in Argentina.” China already buys most of Argentina’s soybean exports. And now China’s largest farming company is trying to lock down acreage for more soybeans. It also unveiled a plan to grow wheat, corn, vegetables, fruit and even wine – all [...]

While we don’t necessarily agree with the argument that Chinese monetary policy is the “single most protectionist policy in the world” as China is merely holding up a mirror to the Fed’s own monetary tools, it does provide some entertaining perspectives. On the other hand, the observation that China takes 6,000 jobs for every billion dollars in incremental trade deficit, is spot on.
It seems the days of Wikileaks are over. The Associated Press reports that the website appears to have lost its host. The question now is who will be the next Wikileaks.
