The set up is beginning to look dangerous.

Got a strong CAPE ridge building in eastern VA with a developing Significant Tornado Potential (STP).

The MCS to the west will rotate into this and literally explode in about 3 to 5 hours.

This is a classic setup for a bad tornado outbreak

ALERT: Widespread Severe-Weather Outbreak Forecast Wednesday thru Weekend

Starting to look at some of the model runs.

Significant features show a low spinning up and moving into the Midwest pulling up a lot of deep moisture from the Gulf of Mexico.

A negative-tilt trough will be associated with it and cooler air behind it.
