There’s a bigger agenda happening with bitcoin that needs to be publicly stated, and this goes far beyond the issue of the financial harm that will be caused when the bitcoin bubble finally implodes.
Central banks hate bitcoin. They hate it because it doesn’t allow them to loot bank accounts (Cyprus) and control the movement of capital around the globe. Bitcoin, in fact, threatens [...]

Rep. Elizabeth Esty (D-Conn.) is calling her state’s new gun laws, including bans of some weapons and high-capacity magazines, a “great package of reforms” that are the “foundation of what we must have at national level.”
Speaking Friday evening on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” Esty said it was heartening to see bipartisan support in a “big gun state.”
“I`ve been able to engage gun owners in my district [...]
Let’s do the math: We have nearly 30 million uninsured people about to get medical coverage under the health care law come January. And we have a projected shortage of 45,000 primary care physicians by 2020. Add to that the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), with 43,000 members who say they can offer basic care if state laws would just let them set up an independent practice without doctor supervision.
And the answer is [...]
In an eye-opening six-month investigation into America’s disability program, Planet Money reporter Chana Joffe-Walt uncovered a “disability industrial complex” fraught with fraud that churns out 14 millionchecks every month to citizens the government has deemed disabled.
In the past three decades, the number of Americans who are on disability has skyrocketed. The rise has come even as medical advances have allowed many more people to remain on the job, and new laws have banned workplace [...]

Thanks to a “perfect storm” of roadblocks this year, tax season is getting off to a rockier start than usual, the Sacramento Bee’s Claudia Buck reports.
For starters, the endless debates over the Fiscal Cliff stalled tax season by a full eight days. As a result, people who are looking to claim tax credits for things like energy, depreciation of property, and business expenses may have to wait until March to file [...]
Since New York State enacted its restrictive new gun laws, many manufacturers have sent that state (and others) a message: If local governments are going to severely restrict the ability of citizens to own guns, then these companies will not be selling to law enforcement in those areas.
To those that said that New Yorkers rolled over and played dead…think again.
Watch as Patriots hold the criminal thugs in government accountable.
In Buffalo, NY the government puts on a Q & A about the new ‘Gun Laws’ and watch what happens…

San Diego Police Chief William Lansdowne is fully supportive of the Obama/Feinstein gun grab, and says if lawmakers play it right Americans can be completely disarmed within “a generation.”
Lansdowne has gone on record saying: “I could not be more supportive of the president for taking the position he has. I think it’s courageous with the politics involved in this process. [And] I think it’s going to eventually make the country [...]
George Soros’ Center for American Progress (CAP) has published a list of 13 new pieces of legislation they claim we need right now, in the wake of the crime at Sandy Hook Elementary.
As you will see, these proposals–like others from liberals–would not have stopped the shooting from taking place: they would not even have hindered it. But they would make it harder for law abiding citizens to get the guns [...]
Ten Wyoming lawmakers have proposed legislation that they claim would nullify any new federal laws banning assault weapons.

The bill is sponsored by eight Wyoming state representatives [...]

As part of the Affordable Care Act, breast pumps and other supplies must be covered by insurance companies
Breast pump suppliers now facing influx of demand
The Affordable Care Act means many things for women, including birth control for all policy holders with no additional payment from the patient required.
A lesser-known facet of the new so-called Obamacare law is a provision that requires insurance companies to cover the full cost of breast [...]
If someone were to ask you for an example of a “totalitarian society”, how would you respond? Most Americans would probably think of horribly repressive regimes such as the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Communist China, East Germany or North Korea, but the truth is that there is one society that has far more rules and regulations than any of those societies ever dreamed of having. In the United States [...]

I just read an article where some state representative wants to publish all names of lawfully registered gun owners in a state. First this made me mad, then I started thinking, which is a very dangerous thing indeed. I found that I had seen this before permeating across everything I am involved with. This epiphany, emanating from the backlash of “gun rights” to all the freedoms and liberties [...]

According to the study, 22 percent of high school students admitted to driving after drinking in 1991, [...]
New voting laws in 23 of the 50 states could keep more than 10 million Hispanic U.S. citizens from registering and voting, a new study said on Sunday, a number so large it could affect the outcome of the November 6 election.
The Latino community accounts for more than 10 percent of eligible voters nationally. But the share in some states is high enough that keeping Hispanic voters away from the [...]
For centuries, the church has enjoyed tax breaks and special privileges that have helped them become the ridiculously wealthy organization they are today. But as Europe’s nations, cities, towns, and the general public struggle through the economic downturn, more and more people have called for an end to the special treatment.
To be clear, the taxes would not be levied on actual Churches, but rather, on their vast property holdings and commercial businesses.
In effect, anything [...]
