An exclusive list of the best hospitals in the United States was released this week showcasing the finest places to receive medical care.

U.S. News announced on Tuesday that the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston topped its list for the first time.

The newest No. 1 hospital bumped off the longtime leader of the list, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, which slipped to second place.
