The Air Force Has Finally Figured Out What’s Wrong With The F-22 Raptors, Now Back In The Air

After months of troubles with the oxygen system of the F-22 fighter aircraft, where multiple incidents of oxygen deprivation caused significant troubles and confused designers and leadership, the Air Force announced yesterday that they’ve traced the cause of the oxygen problems to a valve on a vest worn by pilots at high altitudes.

F-22 Raptor pilots experience new oxygen problems putting $67billion fighter program in doubt

New fears for the beleaguered F-22 Raptor have emerged after it was reported that two more Air Force pilots were forced to land after experiencing symptoms of oxygen deprivation on-board the stealth fighter.

On July 6, a pilot flying one of the $150 million fighters out of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii had to make an emergency landing just weeks after a similar incident occurred at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
