Euthanasia for children nears approval by Belgian Parliament; doctors to mass-euthanize children and Alzheimer’s patients
A proposed law on the verge of approval by the Belgium parliament would allow children to decide for themselves whether they should be euthanized (“killed”) by medical personnel. Currently, Belgian law limits euthanasia to persons 18 and older, but with the rise of autistic children thanks to biopesticides, GMOs and vaccines, nations are increasingly trying to [...]
The rest of the world has found out that the U.S. government has been listening to their phone calls and watching what they do on the Internet and they do not like it one bit. Outrage has been pouring in from all over the planet, and one member of the European Parliament is even comparing the NSA to the Stasi. But instead of stepping back and reevaluating our Big Brother [...]
“On Sunday evening Icelandic member of parliament Birgitta Jonsdottir and Smari McCarthy, executive director of the Icelandic Modern Media Initiative, issued a statement of support for Snowden, the Booz Allen Hamilton staffer who identified himself to theGuardian newspaper as the source of a series of top secret documents outlining the NSA’s massive surveillance of foreigners and Americans.”
This was decided yesterday in Denmark. A Danish Petition has been collecting protest signatures for months but the few within the government decided to bring this on yesterday.
You can read more about it here on the petition that was ongoing:
“The Danish public, the media and even opposition Members of Parliament will no longer be allowed to monitor vital parts of the government’s paper trail, effectively blanketing the Danish government in [...]
A member of the Greek parliament from the far right party Golden Dawn has urged desperate people in the country to “kill those who are responsible for their problems” rather than commit suicide. He defines “those who are responsible” as bankers.

Coming off the heels of a fantastic performance in recent local elections, the UKIP under the leadership of Nigel Farage continues to make waves in both the UK and the Continent itself.
In this case, I refer to a recent powerful performance at the European Parliament courtesy of Godfrey Bloom (UKIP), member of the European Parliament. For many years, I have stated that Ben Bernanke was and is committing crimes [...]
Six Belgian senators introduced a draft resolution in the Belgian Parliament that would make “Islamophobia” a crime punishable by fines and imprisonment. A person would be guilty if he “considers Islam to be violent, threatening or supportive of terrorism…” or “considers Islam to be a political ideology, used for political and military purposes to establish it hegemony.” If passed, the law would pose a devastating blow to the exercise of free speech in [...]
Europe Has Become A Totalitarian State
The Cyprus Template
“What manner of men had lived in those days…who had so eagerly surrendered their sovereignty for a lie and a delusion?”
Cyprus is absolutely the template for Europe now. It is just that the template is far worse than what is narrowly imagined.
It is not the small nation of Cyprus nor is it that the specifics of the criminality that was transacted in [...]

There will be no HYPERINFLATION. That assumes government sits on their hands and blindly just prints to try to please everyone. They are by NO MEANS nice people. This is about them maintaining power. They put the Euro to a vote, got it, the people will NEVER be allowed to ever vote again. The European Parliament is federalizing Europe from a power [...]

Just last week Yiannakis Omirou, Cypriot House of Representatives President, was calling for the nation to accept it is “time for responsibility” as they progressed towards a final solution; and yet today, as Cyprus’ Famagusta reports, he believes the ‘Troika-imposed’ responsibility will, “turn Cyprus into a colony of the worst possible type.” His ‘Icelandic’ solution is to “leave the Troika and EMS behind,” to ensure “national independence, national sovereignty, moral [...]
The politicians of the western world are coming after your bank accounts. In fact, Cyprus-style bank account confiscation is actually in the new Canadian government budget. When I first heard about this I was quite skeptical, so I went and looked it up for myself. And guess what? It is right there in black and white on pages 144 and 145 of “Economic Action Plan 2013″ which the Harper government has already [...]
Europe’s monetary union was meant to be about solidarity among the many and prosperity for all.

In practice, it’s turning out to be a doomsday machine for the fringe economies that once so enthusiastically lined up to join.
If even Wolfgang Schaeuble, the German finance minister, is prepared to admit that Monday’s bail-out is a bitter pill for Cypriots to swallow, then it must indeed have been merciless. Nicholas [...]

Here we go again
Per Reuters, the European Parliament has just officially announced what ECB head DieselBOOM said did not say yesterday, which caused the market to roll over yesterday- that Cyprus is indeed a Eurozone wide template, and the Eurozone has full intentions of following the bail-in model throughout the rest of [...]
Athanasios Orphanides, the former governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, told Tom Keene and Sara Eisen on “Bloomberg Surveillance” today that Cyprus “will face a deeper recession going forward.”
Orphanides also said, “The other periphery countries should thank the Cypriot parliament for rejecting the earlier plan that was advanced about 10 days ago that essentially asked for the confiscation of deposits.”
Orphanides on whether the leadership of Cyprus has the [...]
Cyprus finally reached a deal with the EU on how to bail out its troubled banking system tonight.
Nonetheless, the events of the past week have likely shattered confidence in Cypriot banks.
In a new piece, Moody’s analyst Sarah Carlson argues that the financial crisis in Cyprus “will have profound long-term negative consequences for the sovereign,” and that ”even in the best-case scenario, where the Cypriot parliament passes and implements measures that the euro area governments of the European [...]

News came out yesterday that all Cypriot banks will continue to be closed until at least next Tuesdayand may remain closed permanently.

The ministry of finance issued a decree declaring Thursday and Friday as bank holidays. As Monday is also an established holiday, banks will re-open on March 26.
The government hopes that by that time it will be able to work out a way of raising 5.8 billion euros (7.5 billion US dollars) demanded by international lenders before they consent to a bailout for Cyprus worth 10 billion euros.

The markets are staging a bounce today based on:
1) The ECB surfacing to say it will provide liquidity to help with the Cyprus situation.
2) Bernanke’s speech today and the Fed’s FOMC (stocks tend to rally going into FOMC meetings).
This is once again the markets praying and hoping for divine guidance from the Central Bankers. However, the fact remains that every sensible investor in the world should be [...]

Lawmakers in Cyprus on Tuesday rejected a bailout plan that would have rescued the country’s banks but forced savers to chip in for the cost, throwing down a gauntlet to the rest of Europe over the financial fate of the tiny island nation.
The plan to save Cyprus’s collapsing banks but to charge depositors for the service proved so controversial that not a single one [...]
It appears that Cyprus is now ready to escalate, following news now coming fast and furious, that the Parliament will go ahead and vote after all, but not in a good way as even the Cypriot ruling party, formerly the only party willing to vote Yes on the Bail-In, would abstain according to Dow Jones, which means there is no support at all in the Cypriot parliament for the deposit haircut proposal.
This Great Graphic was posted on FT Alphaville, which in turn got it from Soc Gen. It ranks modern aid packages in terms of the recipients’ GDP.
Assuming that Cyprus parliament approves some version of the tax on depositors–which the newly elected president seems to have favored the tax on small depositors–and a complete catastrophe is avoided, Cyprus will have the second largest aid program at 56% of GDP, just below Indonesia’s 57% package [...]
