An angry four-year-old boy shot his father dead after he refused to buy him a PlayStation.
The Saudi Arabian youngster, from the southern Jizan area, grabbed his father’s pistol and gunned him down.

Facebook Inc. has friended a celebrated figure in hacking circles who recently tangled with Sony Corp.
The company confirmed that it has hired George Hotz, a young programming whiz who is also known by the handle GeoHot. A Facebook spokeswoman did not say what he was hired to do.

A hacker group has claimed it has attacked the Sony network and stolen more than one million passwords, email addresses and other information.
Lulz Security said it broke into servers which run SonyPictures.com.
Sony said it was aware of Lulz Security’s statement and was investigating, the Associated Press reported.

(CNN) — Sony on Tuesday reported another security breach, saying 8,500 user accounts had been compromised.
The company said that Sony Music Entertainment Greece learned about the data breach late Sunday. It affected artist websites where fans can sign up for newsletters.
The sites were taken down immediately, the company said.
The compromised records contained email addresses, phone numbers, user names and passwords.

Sony’s nightmare may not be over yet. New reports show that PlayStation Network user accounts can be exploited by hackers through the password reset page.

After a massive global outage, Sony began restoring service to the PlayStation Network on Sunday. However, some are reporting that the PSN is already down again.
Users have taken to Twitter to complain about the alleged outage, which apparently occurred only hours after Sony began bringing the network back up.
