I read the BLS report, and God help us, the BLS is a total waste of money.

They can only find 5.8 million Americans “who want a job”. They identify 83 million Americans 16 years of age or older who are “not presently in the labor force” and thus not counted as unemployed.

139 million employed, not seasonally adjusted.
14.6 million unemployed, not seasonally adjusted.
