TRASH CANS REMOVED FROM AROUND U.S. CAPITOL

Trash cans near the Capitol are apparently being removed as a precautionary measure after the terrorist attacks in Boston on Monday.

Outside the Cannon House office building on Tuesday, two metal outside trash cans were seen turned over and out of use. Other trash cans were similarly placed outside the Longworth House office building.

The U.S. Capitol Police said that they would be taking additional precautions following the attacks.

Schools consider ‘trash-cams’ to monitor vegetables thrown away by students

Lake County School Board officials are considering attaching cameras to school cafeteria trash cans to study what students are tossing after officials found that most of the vegetables on the school menu end up in the trash can.

Pricey Trash Cans Stolen From City Streets ($1000.00 each)

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Someone is stealing trash cans from Pittsburgh neighborhoods.

KDKA Investigator Marty Griffin reports 50 trash cash cans have been snatched off the streets. They are worth about $1,000 each.
