BREAKING: 6 shot, at least 4 dead in upstate new york, police searching for suspect…

HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. — State Police say four people are dead after two shootings in Herkimer County. They say two people were shot at Gaffey’s Car Wash, located on Mohawk Street in Herkimer. Two people were also shot on South Washington Street in Mohawk.

Police are still looking for the suspect.

The New England Journal of Medicine has recently released conclusions to the media of a manufactured mumps outbreak of 2009 which occurred in New York City, two upstate New York counties, and one New Jersey County.

There were a total of 3,502 cases of salivary-gland swelling and other symptoms clinically compatible with mumps of which 1,648 were confirmed with clinical specimens.

The alleged New York madam has been released from her four month stint in the grim Riker’s Island jail after finally posting bail.

Anna Gristina was freed in Manhattan having scraped together the $250,000 bond, which a judge signed off.

36,000 pounds of Greek yogurt spill on upstate New York highway after truck crashes:

CHENANGO, N.Y. (AP) — A tractor-trailer crash in upstate New York has sent 18 tons of Greek yogurt spilling alongside a highway.

WBNG-TV reports (http://bit.ly/Jsknkj ) that a truck hauling 36,000 pounds of Chobani yogurt was traveling west on Interstate 88 when it crashed on a curve and overturned late Monday night in the Broome County town of Chenango, just north of Binghamton.

Shawn DeCelle, a former bank agent, admitted he stole a meat slicer, bowls, chairs, steamer trays and a bunch of other stuff from a foreclosed bed and breakfast in upstate New York, AP reported. [via WSJ]
