The cheerleaders are out in force, trying to convince the masses that there are “cracks appearing” in the recession.

We’ve seen Obama on Leno, Bernanke on 60 minutes and other hype merchants fanning out across the country to spread the “word”. They must think this is the 1940’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s or to some extent the 80’s and 90’s. Hello, politicians!! There’s a thing called the internet. There are hand held video cameras. There are “bloggers” who can now check back on something you said a year ago which contradicts what you are saying now. The tide has gone out and we can see you were not wearing swimming trunks even though you swore on a stack of bibles you were.
We now see (within minutes!) that Senator Dodd (for example) is a lying s.O.b who’s only REAL interest is Senator Christopher Dodd. We can read what he said 3 weeks ago which ids the opposite of what he’s saying now. We know he got special deals off CountryWide. We know (within minutes) he took $103,000 off AIG.
We can read (within minutes on the web) that a town 1000 miles away is being destroyed by unemployment and families are being destroyed. That millions are losing their homes and their jobs. We can read within minutes that the actions of these low-life CEO’s in the banking industry and Wall Wall Street, have destroyed our children and our grand children future. We can read and see it on News At 10 that hospitals are closing because they cannot take any more non-paying patients. POLITICIANS AND FINANCIAL PONZI SCHEME INVENTORS HAVE NOWHERE TO HIDE ANYMORE.
That’s why the Obama’s (or any other politician) have a lot to do before they can convince me that there are “cracks” appearing in the recession. I read and see and hear of people losing there jobs on a daily basis. Yesterday, I was told a friend has laid off 30 of his employees. I went into a store to buy grocery and met someone (a casual friend) who told me her son (a lawyer) is working at a company which is cutting it’s workforce. THAT DOESN’T POINT TO “CRACKS” APPEARING IN THE RECESSION.
This I do know. There are NO cracks appearing in the recession as far as I can see. It’s getting worse. The so-called “pick up in sales” in the housing industry is b.s. Especially when I get a flier in my door from DH Horton (the big builder) advertising a massive sale to get rid of their excess property which is sitting out there unsold and costing money every day.
Properties which were built in the last 10 years could well be built with contaminated plaster board from China (which was reported yesterday and could affect a third of all new properties and cost one-third of the value to replace) which means I wouldn’t buy a rabbit hutch at the moment. Let alone a house which, even with discounts, are still 40% over-valued.
The problem is this: The great unwashed (us) could have been conned by these slick talkers and spin merchants before the advent of the incredibly fast information outlets we see now. However, the politicians have not yet woken up that we can now see many of them for what they are. Liars and spin merchants, using oudated techniques to try and herd us in one direction. The direction they want us to go.
