The cost of the Iraq conflict is actually NOT PART of the actual National Budget.

Congress is appropriating additional funds for this conflict.
This means as soon as our troops are sent home, Iraq soldiers and police are now “the faces” that the Iraq people see already, will be sometime is 2011. This is the time frame our President wants and of course it needs to coincide with U.S. commanders AND we will leave BECAUSE we are now there at the BEHEST of the Iraq parliament and president.
Then, this money stream, yes river, WILL STOP.
A successful Health Care Law signed by the big B.O. himself will CODIFY AND ENSHRINE ANOTHER WASTEFUL government spending plan into our Nation Budget, forever, and ever and ever….. (like “The Shining’, ya know?).
Did you ever here about that LITTLE BILL that LBJ signed called “The War on Poverty”? Since 1964 we have spent TRILLIONS and there is still poverty in America! The % in poverty decreases in good times and increases like in 1981-1982 recession and now in this recession, which is actually worse for the following reason:
We are in the midst of a Deflationary/Debt collapse IN ADDITION to the adjustments in companies inventories ( which is the typical mark of a recession ).
But, don’t believe me, see all the news on Bill Gross who is head of PIMCO, a very large bond company. He believes the 15 Trillion dollars in America’s assets (houses, stocks, etc.) is OVERVALUED BY 2X!
AND WE WANT TO ADD ANOTHER GOVERNMENT PROGRAM AT THIS TIME?!
Everyone from BOTH sides of the aisle agrees that any government program is at least 50% bureaucracy.
We will not be able to pay THE INTEREST on the National Debt in like 5-8 years as it goes from the current 6-7% of the National Budget to 20%!!
